Zenfone Max Pro M2 Providing Competitive Features

Asus is going ahead and ahead day by day is providing competitive features in its products. The Zenfone Max Pro M2 is here, and it looks like the perfect candidate for the crown of the best budget smartphone out there. Max pro m2 has arrived with additional changes that make it a great budget smartphone.

The display here is outstanding, it is not the same display as the Max Pro M1 because the display on the Max Pro M2 is more significant, has better color reproduction and it is more vibrant.

Zenfone Max Pro M2 has new 6.26 inches screen that supports resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. However, it has a good quality full HD screen with Gorilla Glass 6. Asus has launched this Corning Gorilla Glass 6 for the safety.

Another thing is that having that notch they have given us the physical LED notification light, and it’s a multicolored notification light for example for notifications you get in green when you are charging, it goes in orange. The auto brightness sensor calibration also has been done well on this, and the notch is also pretty small, and they have utilized the notch.

The Max Pro M2 features a premium 3D glass-like finish on the back with wavy design, and it certainly looks great. It is plastic, but the finish gives the phone a very premium look. It is all nice, but there is one problem even though the back is not glass it behaves like glass. The end here is very prone to scratches; this is the reason Asus bundles a case with the phone.

Now moving to the processor Zenfone Max Pro M2 having the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, so it is considered an excellent processor but regarding day-to-day performance there did not notice any lag as well. Another thing about this phone is that even with the regular use of it and stuff like browsing, the web tweeting, YouTube and stuff; the handset does not get formed with daily usage.

Moving on to another thing that needed fixing from the Zenfone Max Pro M1 and that is the camera setup. Zenfone max Pro M2 introduced a new Sony IMX 486 sensor, and it is a pretty capable dual camera that is 12MP and 5MP. Now coming to the front camera, which is 13MP with f2.0 that take some decent selfies when there is a good light. The Selfies in good lighting have good detail and good colors however things are not as good in low-light. The selfies in low-light generally turn out to be soft, and they have a little noise in it. One best thing about Max Pro M2 for selfies is the front LED flash for low light environments. It’s pretty clear that the Zenfone Max Pro M2 does not have the absolute best cameras in this price range, but it’s decent No doubt. However, The Max Pro M2 cameras are a massive improvement over the Max Pro M1.

Battery Life

If we talk about the battery life which is again a trump for max pro series smartphones and this Max Pro M2 has a 5000 mAh battery. You would be impressed with the battery performance on the Zenfone Max Pro M2. It has the 5 volts 2 amp charger in the box. The battery life is the most significant point of this smartphone. On the regular usage, it was very easily coordinate over two days, so the battery life is good.

Video and Call Quality

When it comes to videos the Zenfone Max Pro, M 2 supported a 4k resolution which is something a lot of budget phones miss out on, so the video quality is pretty excellent for the price. Now moving to cellular call quality it didn’t have any issues, even the network reception is good as well.

Fingerprint Scanner

Now talk about the fingerprint scanner because they have improved the fingerprint scanner. The fingerprint scanner is right it is not the fastest that have seen in other smartphones but it does the job, and it’s very accurate. We also have that screen unlock feature if you want you can enable that.

Other Features of Max Pro M2

Max Pro M2 is available in three variants that supported 3GB of RAM with 32GB Storage, 4GB of RAM with 64GB storage, and the last is 6GB of RAM with 64GB storage. Also, it is running Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.

We do have a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and the sound output is good enough. Moving to the speaker, it just has the single speaker with a micro USB port over here. Max Pro M2 weighs in at 175 grams, so the M2 is lighter than a lot of phones that have smaller batteries so no doubt this is super impressive. It will be available in two Colors: Blue and Titanium.
